"All in the Feet"
Music and Lyric by Tom Sperrazzo 2025
Out on my daily walk
Each step provoked a squawk;
My feet told me that morn
I'd long ignored that corn;
I called my best friend Ben;
To see who he'd recommend
He said, "Oh, I've got had a gem!
Just call my DPM."
Doctor Kazinsky, please..
I wonder..Is he Russian, Ukranian or Viennese?
I got in right that noon.
Sat in that little room
As I removed my sock.
In stepped... a lady doc??
Dumbstuck at her beauty
And stunned by her awesome face,
I was frozen, completely kaput.
Her sexy lips said,
"Dahlink, let me look at your foot"!
The eyes, the smile, the hair
All I could do it stare;
Her legs my eyes could not let go;
I gurgled a wimpy "hello".
In that moment in time,
I dreamt that she might be mine;
I imagined a romance we'd find;
But then....
She laughed, I could have sworn,
"That's quite a nasty corn!
You left this yellowed mount to grow--
It's like an eleventh toe!"
And you left out a few details:
Ingrown and fungused nails
I'll bet that bunion's new--
We've got so much to do!"
I left the office on wings,
Dreaming impossible things;
Was there hope for a romance-to-be--
The podiatrix and me?
