"Theorum #2"

Music and Lyrics by Tom Sperrazzo 2026

I stop, I look, I ponder--
What's moving time and how;
And if I'd been slightly yonder,
Where would I be right now?

If one small turn was altered,
How changed might the outcome be;
Had I thrived, instead of faltered,
They might see a different me;

To test my theory,
I have queried life--
It's a dead-end quandry.
So, I'm deducing
This posit's not producing
I'll shift my view
To number two.

Looking at it,
From a brand-new point of view
Led me to a brain-storm;
Seemed like it might be best
To give my mind a rest
And let my heart transform.

No hypothetic calculation,
Just simple and natural truth;
Trust the flow of creation ,
Treasuring my awkward youth.

Sometimes its wise to walk away
From long-held concepts
And think things through;
That was the consequence
Of all the evidence;
And that's why I turned to
THEORUM #2.
